Table scope

AQA reports total raw-mark boundaries by specification and tier. A blank grade in the source is not converted into a guessed mark, so each row shows only the grades AQA publishes for that entry.

AQA Maths 2026 boundaries

Frequently asked questions

Where are the official AQA GCSE grade boundaries for 2026?

They are published by AQA. This page links to the results index and 2026 download, then reproduces a limited set of qualification-level tables.

Are 2026 GCSE grade boundaries the same for every exam board?

No. Each awarding organisation sets boundaries for its own specifications. Match the exam board, subject, specification code and tier before using a table.

Is a grade boundary a percentage?

Not necessarily. Most tables here report total raw marks, while the CCEA tables report UMS. Revise Right does not convert either figure into an inferred percentage.

Are component grade boundaries official grades?

Qualification-level boundaries determine the overall grade. Some boards publish notional component boundaries for analysis, but they are not separate official grades and are excluded from these tables.

Does being close to a grade boundary mean my mark is wrong?

No. A boundary explains how a published mark maps to a grade; it does not show that the mark itself is wrong. If a result looks unexpected, ask your school or college to check the entry, total and available post-results services. A reviewed mark can go down, stay the same or go up.
