June 2026 AQA GCSE Maths grade boundaries: Higher grade 4 = 63/240, 7 = 166/240; Foundation grade 4 = 154/240. Every grade, from the official tables.
AQA GCSE Mathematics 8300 has separate Foundation and Higher total raw-mark boundaries. Both tiers are shown together so you can match the tier on your result.
Published boundaries
Use the qualification code, variant and maximum mark shown with each table.
Sit a free timed AQA Maths mock, 26–31 October, marked with a full breakdown of what to revise next. Registration is free and spots are limited: 500 places in total, first come, first served.
Use the awarding body, specification or entry code, and tier shown by your school or results information. Do not use a similarly named table from a different specification.
Are 2026 GCSE grade boundaries the same for every exam board?
No. Each awarding organisation sets boundaries for its own specifications. Match the exam board, subject, specification code and tier before using a table.
Is a grade boundary a percentage?
Not necessarily. Most tables here report total raw marks, while the CCEA tables report UMS. Revise Right does not convert either figure into an inferred percentage.
Are component grade boundaries official grades?
Qualification-level boundaries determine the overall grade. Some boards publish notional component boundaries for analysis, but they are not separate official grades and are excluded from these tables.
Does being close to a grade boundary mean my mark is wrong?
No. A boundary explains how a published mark maps to a grade; it does not show that the mark itself is wrong. If a result looks unexpected, ask your school or college to check the entry, total and available post-results services. A reviewed mark can go down, stay the same or go up.
