Are these OCR GCSE Biology papers for Combined Science?
No. They are for OCR GCSE Biology A (J247), the separate science GCSE. Combined Science is a different course with its own papers, specification code and grade boundaries, so use the Combined Science papers if that is the course you are sitting.
Should I practise Foundation or Higher OCR GCSE Biology papers?
Your school chooses your tier when it enters you, so check with your teacher. In June 2026, OCR GCSE Biology A (J247) Foundation awarded grades 5 to 1 and Higher grades 9 to 3. Grade 4 needed 93/180 on Foundation and 69/180 on Higher. Practise papers at the tier you will sit: Foundation and Higher papers are different.
