Fertility treatments are incredibly demanding on both body and mind. The physical stress begins with daily hormone injections that can cause side effects like bloating, mood swings, and headaches.
Women undergoing IVF face multiple medical procedures including blood tests, ultrasound scans, and egg retrieval surgery. The egg retrieval procedure requires sedation and can cause cramping and bleeding afterwards.
