  • Picture a factory assembly line making cars. Even with the best workers, if you run out of steel, production stops. Plants face the same problem with photosynthesis.

  • Carbon Dioxide Concentration: Provides the carbon atoms needed to make glucose. Normal air contains only 0.04% CO₂, so this often limits photosynthesis before light does.
